The RAMP program unfolds at the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff Administration Building/Dispatch located at 50 Glacier Road, Martinez CA. With a meticulously structured schedule from 0800 to 1600 hours daily, recruits are immersed in a conducive learning environment, with an hour break for lunch from 1200 to 1300. The stipulated attire is business casual, reflecting the professionalism and decorum of the Sheriff’s Department.
Recruits will be issued a tablet during their academy orientation for online training sessions during RAMP. Moreover, recruits are encouraged to bring their recruit uniforms and PT gear for specific activities outlined in the program.
